Alaric Area Groundwater Plume

Location: Tampa, Hillsborough County

Narrative: Alaric Inc. operated a plastics recycling facility from 1981 to 1992. Facility operations led to soil and groundwater contamination.

American Creosote Works (Pensacola Plant)

Location: Pensacola, Escambia County

Narrative: A wood treating facility that operated for nearly 80 years. Wastewater went into holding ponds that occasionally overflowed. Liquid wastes were also spread on the ground.

Location: North Miami Beach, Dade County

Narrative: Facility used to manufacture a variety of products, discharging wastes directly onto the ground, and possible into a well.

Narrative: Facility used to refurbish underground storage tanks. The process involved cleaning tanks with solvents prior to repair, contaminating soil and groundwater.
