Queen Anne's Lace
Daucus carota

Queen Anne's Lace is also known as Wild Carrot, or even Bird's Nest. An introduced species and member of the Carrot Family, very common in fields and along roadways during the summer and early fall. The roots are said to be edible. One dark flower can usually be found in the middle of the white ones.
