Butterfly Weed Asclepias tuberosa Butterfly Weed is also known as Pleurisy Root. It has alternate leaves and can grow to a height of two feet or so. It grows in open areas with lots of sun, and serves as a host plant for caterpillars of the Monarch Butterfly. |
