Barn Owl Tyto alba The Barn Owl breeds throughout much of the continental U.S. except in the Applachians, New England, northern Plains, and north Great Lakes states. Local abundance varies greatly with appropriate habitat, usually open terrain. Feeds mainly on rodents, but prey can also include other small mammals and even birds. |
