Flora: Pink Lady's-slipper Pink Lady's-slipper Cypripedium acaule This wildflower requires the presence of an underground fungus to live; as a result, many transplant efforts fail and people who thoughtlessly collect these plants from the wild end up killing them, thus contributing to their increasing rareness.
