Flora: Flowering Spurge Flowering Spurge Euphorbia corollata
The Flowering Spurge exhibits small white flowers arranged in open clusters that bloom from mid- to late summer. Leaves are opposite or whorled. Found in fields and prairies, less common northward. Member of the Spurge Family. This individual was photographed in late July at Chiwaukee Prairie in southeastern Wisconsin. |
