Flora: False Rue Anemone False Rue Anemone Isopyrum biternatum
False Rue Anemone is a spring wildflower and member of the Buttercup family. The flower has five parts and the leaves have three lobes. It often occurs in large groups and can blanket small areas. The plants have a delicate appearance and generally rise less than a foot from the ground. Also known as Isopyrum. Photographed in central Indiana. |
